Baby horse teeth...info please??

My 3 year old has a tooth missing from the front on his lower jaw..not one of the directly front ones, slightly to the side. Im not well versed in how horses lose their teeth etc does this sound normal?? He is approx 3 years old but we dont have a exact date.

It sounds normal, he will be getting his permanent incisors through between the ages of 3- 5, the one on the outside will be the last ones to come through.

This is normal, as a guide 1st incisor (middle two) come through at around 2.5yrs, 2nd's 3.5-4yrs, 3rd's 4.5-5yrs

ah yes, this is what my vet told me on Friday my 3yr old has 4 bit boy teeth, top two and bottom two
