When did they stop for you? I swear my horse is getting worse with age (he turned 7 last week). He actually spooked at his own poo in our jumping lesson this morning! That was after broncing down the school after landing the first jump. The grass atm isn’t helping though. God give me strength!

Ahh pleased to hear that they can still start maturing from aged 8. The tree thing is hilarious! Well for me anyway, probably less so for you ?

I’d rather he be scared of the tree that’s always in the same place than the cats that appear randomly out of hedges! He seems to have gotten over his fear of walkers and cyclists this year (last year a Walker had to stop and check she hadn’t caused me to crash land!)

Today’s baby moment was after the heavy rain the water was almost creating a steam off the grass clearly needed a good “stop and snort like you mean it” (yet he happily will ride past smokey bonfires?)
