Baby teeth!!

My little man who is just over 2½ years old has a very loose front tooth!

For some reason this morning I decided to look in his mouth and there is was!! It's very very loose, and he keeps trying to play with it with his top lip! He is eating his hay though so that's a good thing, it can't be hurting him too much! I touched it and it moved back and forth and feels like it will drop out today.

I will see if it's fell out later. I would have liked to have kept it but it will take me months to look through the 5 acre field

lol for a minute i thought u were talking about a child! then it clicked when u said about looking in a 5 acre field for it! ve got some teeth from a younster i had! and the dogs

i think its nice to keep them!

I have a pony who is 2 1/2 too but she is still keeping tight hold of her baby teeth

Hopefully when she does lose them I will find one cos when my Forester lost her teeth (she is now 7, I've had her since 8 months old) I didn't find a single one and was most disappointed

I find most people don't ever get to keep their horses baby teeth. One minute they're all there, the next they are gone. Most of the time you miss them even being at the wobbly stage.

I missed all of mines teeth falling out too. I would have loved to keep them but ho hum.

My boy's fell out in his feed bowl so when I went to wash it there it was, So nicely tucked away as a little souvenir.

Yep! My boy is currently sporting a nice big gap at the front! and he's still really 'mouthy' so I'm expecting an even bigger gap to apear soon!!

It didn't click when she talked about him eating hay?

I never used to know that animals lost their baby teeth as well, I thought it was just humans - I was terrified when my dog started losing her baby teeth!

I didn't keep any though, mum wouldn't let me because she thinks it's gross.
