Most caps just fall off, sepecially the front ones. Its the back caps that tend to get stuck on, especially in miniatures as they have a smaller mouth to fit them in but dont have smaller teeth!

Inkys front ones just came off, but the EDT had to remove the rear ones. A tip i was given by my EDT to help them along was to feed them large carrotts. They nibble them and it helps pull them off. If she appears to be struggling eating then i would get teh EDT out sooner, otherwise just wait till he arrives!

I know miniatures can suffer slightly more than other horses dental wise for the reason mentioned above by stinkbomb. If you're worried get you vet or dentist to check them for you. Teeth are normally swallowed by horses and cause no problems, very rarely you might find them on the floor.
