Back from trailblazers!

[Ash the arab]

Have been to Stoneleigh for the past 2 days competing in the prelim dressage finals.
Ash was great and took the big atmosphere in his stride|!
On thursday we finished 13th in our section - the top 9 were through to the championships and we were in a consulation class for friday.
Today he went really well and we were 9th!!! So have came home with a HUGE rossette!

Silly me lost 2 marks by saluting with my whip in my hand

oops!!!

Best of all we recieved a 9 for the trot and halt down the centre line!!

I've never got one of those before!! But just watched the video back and it was pretty damn perfect if i do say so myself!!

I must say it was great at Stoneleigh to see so many different types of horses! Ash wasn't the only arab there and there were hogged cobs, traditional cobs, throughbreds,native ponies aswell as your usual warmbloods!

I must come and see you and your super star horsey one day, I would have loved to have come along and seen you there, but its Rachels birthday today and we had a party!

I went as groom for my friend - she won her section and a couple of other friends from my area also got into the finals.

One came third, and the other two were joint 10th.

I wasnt competing so had a great time - plenty of wine on the night.
