back from vets - good news ish

firstly thanks for all those who pm'ed me wishing us luck this morning - Heres the news - Pedal bone ok, navicular ok slight changes on pastern - vet thinks she will be ok i have got to ride her every day as it is most important to keep her going she is being buted for a week or so then gradually taken off no lunging again (fine by me, never did much any way) can lightly school but no small circles, ever! keep giving her the premier flex supplement and no long distance till end of june - if she is still lame in a month then i need to think about sending her back, but the vet is hopefull that she will be ok!!! Woooooohooooooo!!! i am so relieved its not as bad as i thought - on another note i started this premier flex last thursday - it has the same top spec ingedients as cortaflex (glucosime, condritin, msm and HA) but also has 50% more devils claw than no bute added - they told me i should definatly see an improvement in a month but today when she was trotted up at the vets our eyes nearly popped out as she trotted almost sound vet was impressed - so watch this space and we'll see if its a fluke or if it really works!

also forgot to say got to have a bit of remidial shoeing - vet going to ring my farrier to explain - something like the heeel being raised slightly xxxx
 
Glad it went well - at least now you know what you're dealing with and can get on with enjoying your riding. Hopefully I'll get there too soon - vet back tomorrow. Thank god for insurance!
