Hi Everyone!

I've already posted in the new rider section about learning jumping position before canter. It now makes perfect sense.

Returned to riding after 30 years and am loving it. I never had any formal lessons so it's nice to be taught properly. I'm at a small RS with some great instructors and not so bad RS horses. Been on three different horses so far, which I'm quite happy with as I would rather experience different rides on horses with different personalities.

Hoping to go on a riding holiday next year and to take out a part-loan. I need to get more experience, though. I've got myself a forward mindset and can't wait to learn more. Mixing lessons with ride-outs and hacks, just to keep it varied.

I can't seem to get a pic up or an Avatar on my profile so I think I need to figure that out.

Me too! I returned after the same kind of time and have gotten older heavier stiffer and less balanced but as fitness builds you find your way again (I hope!)
keep us posted how you're doing

I've also come back into riding after a looonnnggggg time off. I've bought a horse and I'm having lessons on her. Can't believe the difference having some proper lessons has made to my riding ability and confidence. :)
