Some of you will probably know that my mare Rosie is in foal and I have not ridden her since last March due to lameness. Have been feeling very low and missing my riding, particularly my "riding" relationship with her.
Went to see my old livery where I kept her for 3 years when I first had her and YO told me horse there very much in need of exercise. I have known this horse for ages, he is naughty in stable but a really nice ride, palomino, about 15.3hh. Saw YO again last night and she said owner delighted for me to ride him whenever I want, just help myself!
Planning to go and have a "get to know you" hack at weekend, I hope I can remember how to do it! Nice thing is that I could take my friend and her horse - who lives with mine - in the trailer and we could go for a ride together! That would be really great. She has had to ride alone or a year now and I think it would be really fun for us to ride together again.
Having read the two really sad posts on here about Phantom and Katie cob, I feel almost guilty that something good is happening for me!
