Back person in Bucks

Hello, looking for recommendations of someone to check my horses back please. Im in High Wycombe.
Am I right that its fine for a back person to come out but not have a physio out unless a vet is involved beforehand?

Very, very nice person nor sure if she goes out as far as high Wycombe though.

I've heard good things about Kate Lockwood, she was recommended by my saddler, thinks she's based near Nettlebed.

I use Ginnie Ince as she comes to the yard anyway.

We use Julie Beesley, lovely lady although very busy so don't know if she is taking on new clients. She came recommended from instructor, she also helped with me too

ETA: not sure what location she covers, we are south MK

No suggestions, but to your question regarding the vet - you would still need vet permission for someone to carry out body work on your horse

I use Julie too - in fact she was at my yard this morning!

You are supposed to get your vet's permission for any non-vet 'treatment' be that physio, chiro, Bowen, etc although I have to admit I just once asked the general question of my vet whether they would be happy for me to have Julie up and the answer was yes. I don't get specific approval for each visit.

My still preferred is Anthony and prior to his sisters death I had Teressa Ewell I know he is expensive but I have been using one or other since 1986 - so wont change now.

Cool. I will look into the other suggestions too. I think what I an after is someone sort of giving my horse a general MOT . There is not necessarily anything wrong, i just want her back etc checked as she has a few quirks so want to rule out as many things as I can before just deciding she is just a bit of a moody madam!!!

Rachael Maxwell is brilliant! Shes done the horses and the dogs. She managed to find and fix a long standing problem with my dog that no one else had been able to. Shes literally changed her life She comes to me in MK and goes to LB etc and will almost certainly go to you. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Can't beat Bradley Whale, based in Henley. Does my horses and myself. Will not trust anyone else with myself or my horses!! And if he is good enough for the canadian national team and their horses he is good enough for me!
