I would speak to my vet about who they recommend, and go from there. It's against the law for a bodyworker to treat your horse without veterinary referral!

They do require permission. It's not the same as a referral.
Call up your vet and tell them what you're planning to do, you can choose your own qualified practitioner. There are lots in your area, ask your friends or use the power of Google to find someone close by.
