I was talked into doing a fun ride 4 weeks ago, it was last minute, so i didn't have time to panic. Had my friend's mare, lovely and safe, and better still, i was with 2 good friends. Well, i went from not wanting to jump anything to jumping about 10 of the jumps, all were optional. Delighted with myself. Well my friend convinced me, while in the saddle, to join the riding club with her, so i did. Well, 4 weeks into riding club, great confidence giving instructor, i'm jumping a course of 80cms. If someone told me 6 weeks ago, that i'd be doing this, i'd have laughed. I contemplated hypnosis to combat my fear only a few months ago. Just goes to show what a good instructor and a safe cob can do. Am so delighted, the real me is making a comeback, whoo whoop. B-)
