From previous answers to my coughing post, think my mare might be allergic to something as I remember she coughed a bit this time last year.

Have tried her with honey - wouldn't eat it, and have her checked out by the vet, no probs as far as he can see.

So.... she coughs very intermittently. Nothing all week when ridden or turned out, and then 4 or 5 coughs in the Dressage at our comp on Saturday. Heard her cough this morning, but nothing this pm.

Doesn't particularly cough with fast work, quite simply just one or two coughs now and then.

So, is there a supplement you people would recommend?

How much are they, and how long do you have to feed them before they work?

Thanks

My boy coughs sometimes - figured its something to do with the changes in weather. When it goes from dry to damp he coughs and visa versa and when the rape seed oil stuff if blooming he's bad. It does get bad sometimes during work. I've put him on Winergy Ventil-ate. Its about £34 a tub which lasts a month. I think its been helping him plus its full of antioxidants which gobble up all those nasty free radicals so I figure it can't do him any harm!

have had a look at both products on their relevant website. Kof-eze sounds more suitable and the girlie isn't stabled - Ventilate seems to be more for stables neds.

Have you found Kof-eze to work?
