Back to full time turnout

Well, all the horses stayed out last night for the first time since October. We are lucky that we have field lights so they have always been able to have longer out than in, but it was such a nice feeling last night putting the hay out, feeding them out and going up early hours to see them all head down, happily munching away.

They are all horses that are happy to be in, but it's still nice.

So who else has turned back out overnight already?

Two have already gone out as are on a well draining hill field - the other two were out 24/7 for a couple of dry weeks in feb, but came back in at night once it got wet as their paddock was churning up.

Hoping to have them all out for beggining of April but will depends on the weather.

It is such a lovely feeling when they are out 24/7 as you can get your life back, not being held hostage to stable routines and lack of daylight.....can't wait!

It was just lovely. I know they will have to come in again if we get excess rain again, but got to take theses chances when we can
