The horse viewings went pretty badly yesterday. The mare I went to look at that apparently got 'a bit stressy' in the school turned out to be verging on loopy (and they didn't let me see it in the school - only in a field

) so, discounted that one, they then said 'we've got just the thing for dressage' took me to see a ginormous mare (all 17.1hh of her) bearing in mind I'm 5'4..... anyway, tacked it up, pulled it out of the stable to be confronted by a pair of seriously pigeon toed feet. Girl tried to assure me that it would manage to at least elementary level without a problem but probably wouldn't pass the vet.

Finally, ended up at the stud where I've bought my foal from as they had a mare for sale but she was too bloody big (17hh again!)

I hate buying horses

Me too!!! Horse I'd found failed the vet today. She was the TWELTH one I've seen. Very slightly lame on a trot up on Left Fore so we chucked it. Called in to see a horse the vet recommended on the way home and that was bl**dy unlevel as well.
