A couple of months ago I decided it was time to buy equine number 3 (and horse number 1!) and found a very nice mare who I decided to buy. She was being sold by a friend of the owner, as she had facilities for people viewing her to use. She had to leave her yard, as the stable block she was in was being demolished (Y/O never got planning permission for it, I think) so horse went back to the owner. Before she moved back, I had her vetted and she failed it, due to what the vet thought was a bruised sole. I went on holiday in between, and have only now spoken to the owner (lady who I dealt with before has had a rough couple of weeks and a phone that decided not to work so only got owner's number from her yesterday). She's still lame, vet has nerve blocked and got it down to something in her elbow region.

So now I'm back on the great horse hunt :(

Sod's bloody law!
