Got to take my jack Taz back to the vets tomorrow, things had been going so well with the medication controlling the glaucoma but over the last day or so her eye has gone more and more cloudy and it has started to be watery again. Called this morning and they want to see her tomorrow and we have to starve her incase they need to remove it straight away.

Not looking forward to it at all but whatever they do she will be more comfortable.

Sorry just had to get that off my chest and easier on here than at home.

Fingers crossed she improves, but to reassure you if it is the worst case scenario a few of us on here have had dogs who have had an eye removed and they have all coped brilliantly. As you say the main thing is that she is comfortable again.

Thank you, I picked her up this morning. The pressure in the left eye had rocketed and the right eye had increased aswell. Unfortunately the only thing to do now the drops had stopped working was to operate to remove the eyes, she is nearly 10 now so both were done at the same time rather than putting her through 2 ops.

she is alot happier although still a little disorientated but is loving the fuss she is getting.
