Bad and good day

On our yard in the last three months 4 horses have been PTS either from old age or other causes. My friend just lost her horse today so im quite sad. Has anyone else experienced similar?
The good part of the day is that my friends horse is going to Monty Roberts today to be worked on as he was chosen! Happy for her but sad for my other friend

Its so very sad when you lose a much loved horse. They occupy such a big chunk of your life - enjoying most of your leisure time caring for them and having fun together. All I can say is time is a great healer and eventually you can look back and remember all the good times and be thankful that they had a happy life with you or your friends.
