In October I put my horse on working livery (I won't say where so I'll call it "X Stables"). Everything was going fine until the staff at X Stables disregarded welfare towards my horse. Her saddle didn't fit and needed a new tree. As I was in the process of getting my saddler out I asked for her to have time off as I noticed she was completely out of character and extremely sore in the back. No matter how much I begged for her to have time off the most she was given was a weekend to rest.
Her saddle has now been correctly adjusted and she has had over 4 months off. I've had no physio etc as I can't afford! She seemed completely fine so i brought her back into work. She has been in work for 3 days and I have already noticed her back getting a little bit sore after work. The only difference this time around is that she is working fine and is showing no discomfort when working, only when i run my fingers along her back.
What should I do?
I need to get her back into work as I need to put her up for loan due to university. Would it be best to call a physio/chiro out? if so who is best in the Staffordshire area?
Thank you!
