Bad behaviour you put up with !!

Begging :o He even pokes me when i'm not paying enough attention to him! Ever so gently mind

Alf gets away with murder! I wouldn't have put up with some of the things he does with any horses I've owned/looked after in the past - but he's an older gentleman now, and such a nice person that I just laugh at his misdemeanours!

Main one is walking out of his stable, diving for the grass in front of it, then refusing to move his bottom so I can shut the door. I then can't get his head up once he's eating - he's like a naughty riding school pony. I just drop the rope and let him get on with it now. If he treads on it, it's his own fault!

He is allowed to rub against me, he regularly nicks carrots out of my back pocket, and he pretends he's going to bite me if I hold the side of his headcollar while grooming/bathing. He also swings round to nip every time I pull a bit of mane out. He's only made contact once, and was absolutely mortified!

My loan pony hates fly spray round his back legs, and can be a bit lippy/mouthy. Never biting, just licking/playing. He is gradually getting better with the fly spray, and hopefully will soon be fine with it.

Clearly "bad" behaviour is in the eye of the beholder - it's very subjective. While there are some behaviours we can all agree (probably) are undesirable, there are others that are tolerated and/or encouraged by one half of the horse owning population and frowned on by the other half.
