My dachshund has had bad breath on and off for a few days, it's very hard to describe the smell. Sort of sickly - imagine stale blood mixed with dead rabbit and you get the rough picture. He is a bit quiet today but has been fine otherwise, and is eating and pooing normally. His teeth are pearly white (in fact the vet always comments on how good they are) and he has plenty of chews around. He never normally has bad breath! Does anyone else's dog have this problem sometimes?
