Just a really quick question...

My 2 year old has had bad breath for about 3 days. Do you think i should get his dentist or vet out to have a look at his teeth.
Just worried that his new teeth aren't coming though right or have caused damage to his mouth and caused a sore
He's eating normally and isn't bothered about having his bit in his mouth (only in for 5 mins every other night) He hasn't got any lumps or bumps and the dentist looked at him in August and although his teeth were sharp he didn't want to do anything as he knew his adult teeth were coming and didn't want to damage them.
Anyway, My vet is also a qualified dentist although i do have a separate dentist. Do you think i should give either of them a call, or does this sound normal for a youngster?

It's almost certainly a sign that something is amiss, though not necessarily anything serious, though it will need attention. A friend of mine had a horse that got a bit of bramble caught in its mouth, it caused an infection and foul breath but when it was removed by the vet and the pony had antibiotics, he was fine. He never went off his food either, some horses are are impossible to put off their food!!
Hope you get it sorted soon.
