Bad day at the show yesterday and a great lesson today!!

I had a bit of disastrous day at the show yesterday

I took Buddie as well as Bear for a friend to do a lead rein class with him

Bear was a complete and utter tw@t

I have never ever known him to be such a sh1t

He reared up with me

He has NEVER done that!
He was constantly calling pratting around and generally being naughty and embarrassing!

When we were in the ring he was so so strong, and when we were in the line up every so often he would shoot backwards and try and spin ect...

we came 4th in the M+M.
A bloke had been watching and when we came out he went in a spoke to the judge and then came over to see me,He rides the judges horses and apparently if I had used my space better we would have been placed higher, the judge thought Bear was was a cracking horse.
I did a fun class (Best grass kept), we came 2nd. The judge (different one) asked if I knew of any horses like him that are for sale

(he behaved in that class) as Buddie had been out of sight for about 4 hours.
My friend popped him over a clear round and she loved him!
So I am never taking 2 horses ever again! I have been so stressed all week worrying about it!

So today I had a lesson, we practiced our individual show. No stirrups

, My legs are killing me now!
and then we did some jumping

I actually really enjoyed it. I forgot my camera though

We were doing triple bounces

I cant believe how good he and I were, I have never done anything like that and neither has he!

He was so good, it was my friend and her daughter's 1st time as well as his!
He's the bright bay with the dinky child on board!

Please try and take out more than one again. They do get better. The three we took on Saturday have been nightmares in their previous three outings together. This time little angels (famous last words probably...!)

I dont have transport so either have to hack or get a lift with a friend.
Its about a 30 min hack, Buddie's not fit at all and I dont think its fair on Bear to hack over there to do a few classes and hang around for hours and then hack home.
My friend offered to box them both over to the village the night before, and I kept them in their old field I used to rent over there. They settled in fine for the night, it was like they had never left there lol!
The plan was she was taking her daughter's pony and her yearling, we would box Bud's and yearling home together in morning and then Bear and daughter's pony would go home together in the afternoon once they were both finished.
Buddie and the yearling were both only doing one class which was meant to be 1st thing.
But Buddie's was held up a little. Just as Bud's was going in the ring friend said she was finished and she was taking yearling home

I said Buddie would only be 20 mins or so but she went and took her anyway

So then I was stuck up there with 2 horses and didn't know how I was getting them home

I gave her fuel money BTW. Later on in the day my mate went and asked what was happening and she said ''can't she keep them in that field again tonight and hack them home tomorrow?''
I was really worked up and upset about it. My OH was at home so I rang and said I wasn't sure how I was going to get them home, He was absolutely fuming, because I do a lot for her, not that I mind, as I enjoy everything to do with horses.
In the end I went and said to her that Bear was finished for the day shall I go and untack him and put him in the box... And she paused and said spose so.
So eventually at 6.45pm she took them home for me. Poor babies got there at 9am

Never am I taking 2 again lol! If I only had Bear there would have been no stress!

I was photographing the inhand and then the last few junior classes and the senior showjumping

LOL, Thank you Twizz Bear's nick name is usually eeyore but it was bloody tigger yesterday! I was pi$$ed right off by the end of it!
It was such a long day, What time did it finish? I left at 7pm and they still had loads of jumping left.

I left at about 5:45pm, was absolutly shattered as had been there since just before 9!! My right hand ached soo much, took hundreds of photos. Had just about lost the will to live by the time I left!!
