Just wanted to put the feelers out to see if anyone could help give me some ideas of where to find a new sharer. I was made redundant out of the blue 2 weeks ago and then my sharer sprung on me that she had suddenly bought her own horse as was offered it cheaply and hadn't even been looking - and now I am left with no sharer :(

Need someone to ride 2-3 times a week. Currently based at Windmill Farm in Bucks. 17hh KWPN 7 year old gelding. Lovely looking kind horse with oodles of potential. Fantastic for dressage as extremely trainable attitude and great natural paces etc. Work in London so cannot cope with getting up there every night. Available to compete too if sharer wanted.

Am desperate. Reluctant to advertise on the web again as last time got emails like "how high does he jump" and "are you near woods".... very random!!

Any help very gratefully received. Willing to relocate yards as long as still commutable from West London

Thanks!!

I think most people look on the internet, I've had a good response from my ads (Horse Shares UK, Freeads and Horsehunter), just put as much info in the description as you can. I did get a lot of teenage replies though when I had said adults only.

I found my share on horsetoloan.com, which seemed to have loads of space to put plenty of detail in. To be honest, wherever you advertise you will probably get numpties. I have to admit, i applied for an 'adult only' share when i was 11 lol. If you don't ask you don't get. They liked me and i rode the mare well and got it. So just take the bad with the good, filter out the numpties and be strict with them (ie tell them straight but politely if they are no good for your horse). Am sure you will find someone fab and it will be worth it in the end. Sounds like a dream horse.
