our little highlad pony Jayjay has been very ill for the last five months, and after thousands of pounds worth of treatment, we're having to give up
the good news (i suppose it's good news) is that his old owner has agreed to take him in for retirement, and he's happy and perky and still eating (very well, might i add) so we're hoping poor old Jay has a good, long retirement! good vibes for the ponio please!
so now we're looking for another loan pony for my little sister, i think the sooner the better really. but where can you find loans? we've agreed I'll share the pony with her, so i can do the last couple of PC years, and jump and do all the things i'd like to do that Oscar can't, and in turn, muck out and sort out problems and stuff for her. we want something about 14.2h, for a short term loan (probably under a year) that is a confidence giver but not slow, jumps about 3 foot, doesn't get excited when jumping, can do xc and basic flatwork, easy to stop, responsive, basically a nice, forward going allrounder. does anyone know of a pony like this, or have any ideas of where to look? (websites, magazines ect) we're in the south west.
