This morning I knocked on a door with a parcel and there was a half eaten fish on the doorstep. Quite a big fish as well, middle section (all that was left) was as big as a fist.

The lady opened the door and I asked which cat had eaten the fish and she pointed to one (she has 2) and said "probably him, he's licking his lips" which indeed he was and looking very happy to :smile3: she then said "I wonder whose bin he got it from ?" so I told her it wasn't from a bin as still had its intestines and there was blood a bit further up her path.

Her jaw hit the floor and she went pale and said "S&&t ! Next door's pond :eek3: !!! They are now one less Koi.

Still chuckling at the cats very contented face and tummy :biggrin3:

I must be lucky, having five cats and a pond with koi carp! They have never tried to catch one and the cats often drink from the pond and the fish are right under their nose!
But the poor old frog that lives in there , gets well and truly terrorised if he dares to venture into the garden!

Oh dear! Had to be an expensive one, didn't it? Bet she was out there washing the path, sharpish!! :D

She was ! As I left she was looking for something to pick it up with and when I came back past again she had a bowl in her hand so I assume she was washing the blood away. She gets a lot of parcels so can't wait to see her again and ask the outcome :biggrin3:

Lol!

We are also lucky having 2 cats and koi in our pond. kitties like to drink from the pond but never touch the fish or even attempt it. They have both fallen in a few times so surprised they still go near it!
