badger rabbit fleas !!!

My Patterdale and jack russel constantly go over to a little wooded area behind my stables and go down the holes I think badger and rabbits/ foxes which I dont mind its in there nature but they came back yesterday covered in fleas they were only wormed and frontlined Monday can these fleas actually live on dogs or do they die after a bit as not on host animal ive been bitten last night( Flea bite) and picked them off all my dogs my house is very clean and ive washed all the bedding, HELP what do I do apart from keeping them in !!

Treat your house with a house hold flea spary aswell, that way they cannot hide out in the skirting boards, awaiting your dogs flea treatment to run out

Can not add to CALA's top advice, except that the top flea culprit is in fact the hedgehog they are even more common than the dog flea which comes in at no/3 or something!
Sorry just some usless information for you there! Hope you are rid of them soon, I have started to feel itchy just reading your post!

Im still sore by the bites even after a week never thought of hedgehogs makes me think they in garden as well !! THANKS.
