Badminton and the red button

Don't know, but if you press red button then type in 3001 this takes you to sports multiscreen, then press blue button, you will get all times for sports on red button for the coming week xxx

Have just checked on the Badminton website :

Sunday 24th April: 11.50 am – 5.45 pm Cross Country live on Red Button

Monday 25th April: 1.00 pm – 3 pm BBC 2 – Cross Country Highlights and Show Jumping (Live)

Am working on the Sunday so will have to record, but definately will be watching on Monday!

Enjoy :D

I could be wrong but don't think you can record off the red button., I've got sky + and am sure I've tried to record off it before and couldn't. Unless you 've worked out a way to record onto dvd or something ?

I think I've found the same - you can record from Live. Could be wrong though.

I may set it running and then pause it - everyone will be told to keep away from the TV, and I'll catch it all up once I'm back from ponies :D

Im sure you cant record off red button. Oh well....that means I will be forced to slump on the sofa for most of the day with tea and chocolate just in case I might miss something!!

I can and have recorded Badminton off the red button before.
But you have to be there at the start to set it running , you can't forward programe it as there's no way of knowing which stream of the red button it will turn up on.

If you have Freeview, whatever's on the red button seems to be on channel 301 as well so I record from there. I went on Guide last night and searched "Badminton" and it came up as being on 301 on the Sunday and then BBC 2 on Tuesday so I set it to record both. Not sure if that works with SKy etc.

Ah I hadn't thought of that! But I did just try recording 301 and it worked fine. Now, whether it went onto the DVD machine or some hard drive, I'm not sure :)

Will it be on iplayer???
because I am working sunday and last time a had horse racing/ burghley or WEG some stupid customers told me to switch to the snooker of golf :mad:
People are soooo boring!

So does anyone know if there's any normal, terrestrial TV coverage of Badminton? We haven't got red button funtionality, nor Sky, and freeview isn't in our area until 2012. Nor does my computer have the capability to watch via t'Internet. Guess I'm stuffed then!
