badminton breastplate/ grakle question...

Saw that some riders were wearing breastgirths with breastplates (wfp and olli) and I ust wondered whether you professionals would know why?

also zara phillips had a grakle with a really big fluffy patch. It looked really comfy! anyone know where I can get one??

The breastplate/breastgirth combo will be to secure the saddle from two points (pommel d rings and girth) for extra security.

I remember reading in the paper that Zara Phillips got her bridle made by stroud saddlery- I assume that will also mean the noseband. http://www.stroudsaddlery.co.uk/

ali_m is right it says on their page she does so assume she uses their grackle too.
