Badminton...caravan site??

Has anybody ever stayed on the caravan camping site at Badminton??
I am planning on taking my mum who is getting on a bit and likes the living a little more refined than me!!
I am told they have no facilities for electrical hook up.
If not so good then does anybody know of a good caravan site nearby or just the area so that I can do an online search!
 
Not too sure about the site but if you would be interested in some localish (15 min drive) accomodation I can recommend some places locally.
 
I go and stay on the campsite with my sister every year. We rough it in the tent for 4 nights and always have a fab time.

I am 99% sure there is no electric - everyone seems to have genorators.

Not sure of any campsites nearby - the traffic can be ghastly as can parking so make sure you leave early each morning if you do stay off site.
 
To be honest there are some better caravan club sites within a few miles, but book early!

We stayed in a lovely one with electric hook up, shower/toilets e.t.c

Much cheaper too.

Mums going to find out now for you, I can't remember. We booked end of Jan and he was nearly fully booked so make sure that you book early!
 
It was a farm in Horton (about 2miles from Badminton) we don't have the number but mum said it was listed in the Caravan Club book so you should find it in there!
