Badminton priority booking looks like camping booking up quickly

Badminton opemed priorty booking on Wednesday .5th
All entry has to be booked no entry at the gate.The camping/ caravan tickets seem to be selling like hot cakes only space in one field left and public booking doesn't open until Wednesday 12th
Looks like they are limiting the numbers with no entry on the day.
Fingers crossed it goes ahead caravan slot booked looking forward to it after a barren 2 years.

I've been watching it fill up online - the first three fields sold out really quickly, well done for booking your pitch! Have you taken your caravan before to Badminton?

The only time I've camped there was probably 30 years ago, in a tiny two man tent and my friend and I awoke to a load of snow on the Saturday morning!

We'll not be camping this year but hope to take our motorhome next year. Which are the best fields to aim for on the site? Also do you have solar on your caravan - we'd need to get that fitted first!

We have taken our caravan many times before .We do have solar panels which is useful as no hook-up.
We tend to go for one of the fields nearest the track to the event and further away from the road as the road can be noisy and it's less distance to walk back (and carry any purchases)and nearer the little shop in the village.
We always go for and end one as then not surrounded although the pitches are quite big.
Don't go to near the loos and showers as a lot of foot fall there and sometes queues for the showers.

Surprised how quickly it is booking can't see much being left when they open public booking.We have booked our seats for show jumping and that looks to be selling out fast
