I was hoping my OH could come along, but her horse is still not fully recovered from a hock problem, so I'll be there with a friend.

I've had my forms for months, but with uncertainty with my OH's mare, we thought we'd leave it until the last minute to decide.... WRONG

I don't know whether to go now. It's so close to me and obviously yes, it's Badminton, but I think they are taking the pee a bit!!!
Also if I remember rightly, when we did it before it was run by the BHS (as opposed to the hunt) and all they stewards did was shout at us to WALK lol!!!

Good thing I'm deaf in one ear then. It will be pure coincidence that whichever side the steward is, that happens to be my deaf side

How did everyone get on?
We set out quite early and had a few groups pass us. Then we settled into a nice pace, after we had blown off a bit of steam on the l o n g uphill gallop. Poor H ran out of steam there bless him. I managed a couple of jumps, although H thought the nice sized logs were definitely crocodiles in disguise, so I did not do as many as I would have liked.
I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures, although I do hope they got the take offs, not the landings
Great fun day, just a shame we were not allowed to get wet.
Oh and the ice cream afterwards.... mmmmmmmm
