I see some of the horses had tape on their nose's, sorry probably very dim question
what was it for, I have never seen it before.

It's supposedly to keep the nostrils as dilated as possible to reduce the resistance in the horse's airways to the air that they breathe in at such amazing volumes while galloping round Badders

So I suppose it's the same effect as the nasal strips that humans wear. OK i did wonder if it was the same, but as i said never seen it before. Maybe that's where I'm going wrong XC !!!!!!!!!!!
