Only catching the end of this on Horse & Country TV, but it's repeated again this evening at 8pm and again early in the morning. It's interesting to see Mark Todd, Karen Dixon etc. competing back then...
I was just about to make a post about this as I watched it and grandparents so couldn't get online. It was nice to see so many snaffles and no martigales! Horses were finishing sooooo much better than they do now too for having long format.
Its blooming rediculous that they're shortening burghley to make it more excited but there was so much going in that 1994 course. The first crossing of luckington lane, you'd never get that now but it needed bold riding, was technical but also a bit of a rider frightener!
It was fabulosu to watch, hoping they put it online as I'm back to bristol tomorrow!
(oh and the dressage, didn't see any over bent horses!)
