I have absolutely no experience in this area so I'm hoping someone can enlighten me!

I've always had a horse suitable for hunting, however this season haven't been so lucky. My closest hunts are Rockwood and Badsworth, and I'd like to go out on the Badsworth's Boxing Day hunt as it's always been a good one.

I'll call someone at the hunt, obviously, but wanted to ask the Q first so that I don't sound like a total dimwit when I do... what is the arrangement with hirelings and how much would I be expecting to pay? Would I pick up the horse and get it ready or do they "deliver" is to the meet for you, all pretty and polished?!

Also, if anyone knows of somewhere near the Badsworth who have hirelings, I'd be grateful for a name or number :)

Think they did hirelings but a bit out of touch with it all. You could ring them.

Timbertops are brilliant. Know their job and look after you. I even got tea and toast after a had a hirling off them a few years ago when my neddy was lame and I was getting hunting withdrawal symptoms! Not sure what horses they have on due to that terrible accident.
