..... Were negative, no cushings :) whoo!

So vet has concluded stiffness/lameness is definitley arthritis related. He's now on a cocktail of supplements and oils, danilon and is getting gentle exercise for 20-30mins per day, and one hour long hack at the weekend. Although he's still very stiff, he's much happier in himself and more 'bright'.

When farrier comes in the next few weeks I'm going to see if there's anything he can do to stop the tripping.

Thank the lord he seems to be on the mend!

Thanks to all for the advice on my original thread, it has been invaluable!

Glad bailey is getting better.

I'm a big fan of supplements, especially for joints. I use Equine Answers products and found on my old ex riding school pony the Premierflex plus worked great. He was never lame but just a bit stiff and on using the supplement he got a spring back in his step:)

Fantastic news!

I'm having my new boy tested for Cushings at the end of the month, it's such a worrying time. What a wonderful feeling for you to know everything is fine.

All the very best with Bailey
