Baileys Lo Cal

Lets see

Baileys Low Cal, Racehorse mix and speedy beet - donkey is still Donkey no I did not see any increase in speed or energy from my furry tortoise!!

Have you reduce her other concentrate feed since giving it to her? She could just be getting too much energy from her feed now? My horse went nuts on Alfa A Oil even though it's meant to be slow release etc - just beacause he was getting more energy than he needed

My mare is the same as SSM's on Lo Cal. No difference. Might have been nice to see her perk up a bit!

Yes, I have a youngster who wasn't getting fed over the summer but still needed vits/mins so I gave her the LoCal and she got very silly on one beaker a day of it, I tried again when the grass had gone and same thing.

check it's not got Alfalfa in it - it can send some horses loop the loop!

I don't believe it has, but the inclusion rate per day is very small in the overall diet at perhaps 500g a day, although I know Alfa is another product that can and has caused issues.

I feed low cal, Dengie hifi lite and sugar beet and have a horse in minimal work that is fine. Changed my mad as a hatter i'm gonna buck you off pony from cereal to low cal and he became a lamb!

So, I dont think its the low cal

My horse seemed ok on it but I'm sure someone else I know who fed it said it seemed to spark up her mare so it may be thats the case with yours too.
