As the title says really! Was considering putting one of my horses on baileys no. 4 topline cubes just wondering if anyone knows if it is suitable for a horse with a sensitive tummy, he's currently on a 4 week course of gastrogard he has grade 2 ulcers and windsucks. He competes most weekend's and find that he just needs a little something added to his feed but don't want to upset his tummy and more importantly have you seen results when feeding it? Thanks!!

As an alternative maybe look at TopSpec Ulsakind cubes, these are a good quality cube that is very good for horses competing that may stand for a while with no feed they are oat based rather than wheat and may well be better for a sensitive soul

Where I work we sell a lot to competition yards. they are very popular

Hi there, i should have probably already mentioned what I have him on! He is already fed top spec ulsakind with the comprehensive balancer, Dengie healthy tummy and fast fibre was thinking of just upping the cubes but didn't know if you could feed too much of the stuff? I have never had any problems with keeping weight on him and don't know if its moving from home where there was plenty grass to a livery yard where the grass isn't that great?

I wouldn't say the ingredients are all that great for something prone to ulcers...
I would add micronised linseed to his feed...it contains the Omega's lost from the grass during haymaking...its nutritious and conditioning and you can find Ed as much or as little of it as required.
