Hey guys, had a blonde moment
cool.gif
and threw away the sack from my Baileys No 4 without checking the recommended daily amount for a 16.1hh tb weighing 500kg in light to medium work. Does anyone know off the top of their head what this would be cos it's not on their website.

Ta in advance

Not much help but mine is 15.1hh, can't remember exactly how much she weighs but obviously less than yours and she's on 1.5lbs a day.

Try emailing them, they might not get back to you until tomorrow but you'll get an answer

4lbs

Taken from baileys website

However, many of us can only feed twice a day so, if your 500kg horse in light to moderate work needs 3.7kg (8lb) of compound feed (the recommended amount), that’s 1.8kg (4lb) per feed – the equivalent of a Stubbs scoop of Top Line Conditioning Cubes

I have a 16h TB - I feed her 3/4 scoop of No4 in the morning with chaff and the same at night. Works well. I am now on No.17 mix and feed a full scopp day and night.
