My mare is currently on Baileys No 4 Top Line Conditioning Cubes and is doing ok on them but I have been recommended to use Top Spec Cool Condition Cubes as they will have a better effect, so to those of you who have used both - which did you find the best? Also do the TS Cool Condition Cubes have to be used with a TS Feed Balancer as suggested in thier literature?

Not used either but I do know that the TS Cool Condition Cubes should be fed with the a balancer or vit/min supplement, because the cubes are not supplemented with vit/mins as they are designed to be fed with the balancer. The Baileys cubes, however, are supplemented with vit/mins and are designed to be fed on their own (alongside forage obviously).

I rang Baileys and they were brilliant.

They recommended Baileys No 2 - Working horse and Pony Cubes. (Described as 'half strength conditioning cubes'). Cool Mix's fizz her up, and these cubes suit her down to the ground. She looks absolutely wonderful on it.

They give good advice, as well as plenty of free samples

I'm sorry to say this, but Top Spec didn't do anything for her.

Yeah, tbh I am quite happy with what the baileys is doing for her and she's fed at recommended amounts according to thier nutritionist so I'll just give it more time I think.

Ive spoke to TS and you are supposed to use both together or the cool condition cubes with a supplement. I decided on TS balancer and just Alfa A instead and hes slowly put condition back on. This was mainly because I couldnt get the cubes anywhere local.

i have used both and top spec cool cond. suited my TB better. but that is mainly cos he couldnt handle the cereal in the no. 4
i dont feed them with the TS balancer (too expensive!) but i just add a general purpose supplement instead. the cool cubes are economical to feed as you only have to add a small amount to notice a diference.
