Bailey's Outshine

I have used this in the past, but can't remember measures off the top of my head. Doesn't it state recommended quantities for size/height on the bag/website?

Can't see it on the website which is why I asked here. Gives amounts for the Stud balancer but only gives up to 24 months and she's almost 29 months so I think she's a little bit too old for that now hence why considering outshine. Think I'll measure her with weight tape tomorrow and give them a call.

It depends what you are feeding it for. For coat shine I only feed 1 or 2 mugs dependong on horse (225 - 450 grams) but for weight gain or energy you will need to feed more. Their helpline is really good so give them a call

I use this to help keep weight on Fraser (although I am not sure he needs it!) and because it is an easy way to feed oil. I feed nothing like the recommended quantities; he has one small scoop twice a day. It is a normal herbal supplement scoop, not sure how much it holds but it is like a small espresso cup size...

Are you feeding outshine as a balancer? Only ask as it isnt designed to be fed as a balancer, so would need additional vits and mins added....

That's right, its an oil suppliment. When I phoned the helpline they recommended feeding it with Lo-cal. I've gone for D&H Ultimate Balancer instead as it will work out cheaper.

Ohhh I see. I was under the impression it was a complete balancer. May look at Blue Chip then and see how long that would last me. Can't afford to be paying shed loads for feed. x
