Anyone using it? good or bad stories? has it made a difference?

picked up a tub of the spearmint stuff earlier this week for my 2 tb's - using it instead of Ultimate Balancer to help get some oil in them and hopefully get some weight on the mare without feeding her 3 different things at once...

Yeah I have used a tub of it, and he loved it. But found out the price of a big bag, and have put him on topspec, as is cheaper, and lasts longer....

But for the short time I used it, it seemed ok, he looks well and felt well, but no different to how he was without it, when fed a balncer and oi on its own....

I used a couple of sacks then clicked how expensive it was so switched to linseed oil which is so much cheaper and does the same job.

im just about to put archie on it (along with his C&C and alfa-a oil and pink powder). He is currently on straight linseed, however im positive thats whats sending him round the bend as it did with Bloss. So im taking him off that and putting him on the outshine.

The thing with mine is that they were on Ultimate Balancer, plus linseed which costs the same as Outshine (well, bout 30p more...) so I'm hoping that the outshine will save the hassle and do the job of both!!! Not looking for drastic results, just like to know they are getting all they need.

Thanks..!

Mine have outshine at the mo.

And all my horses have been fed on this and thrive on it - they have wonderful shiny coats, and have the energy when they need it without the fizz. Top stuff!

hi i have a question for you all that are on it at the present, i liked the idea of outshine, but my horse does not need the weight gain, all you that are already on it has it put a noticeable amount of weight on your horses.

It just depends on the amount you feed. Mine are on a cup a day and it just gives a nice shiney coat with no weight gain

Ed has been on it since it first came out.
He looks and feels really well on it. Energy levels are good without being fizzy. I haven't noticed any significant weight gain but then he's only been on it during the winter when he apparently looses weight which he hasn't this year.
My guess is that it is much like any other feed in that you need to get the amounts correct for the level of work the horse is doing.
I would highly recommend it!
