My 9 yr old TB has gone a bit lethargic, could be because I'm not feeding him a lot, only a few h&P cubes plus alfa a. Plenty of grass, but sandy soil so am worried that he's not getting enough nutrients. (he's a bit too fat as well...

Have used Blue Chip in the past, but there are so many balancers on the market now, which is the best? Or would a general vitamin supplement be better?

I'd just buy a cheap vitamin and mineral supplement. They all contain much the same, and its a lot cheaper than having to buy a feed balancer. Or if you want to feed less and save on bills whilst giving your horse a balancer at the same time, just feed pink powder. I put my horse on a vit and min supplement as it was less expensive than feeding him a mix and as he is a good doer chaff is enough for him, unless of course he works much harder then I would give him hard feed.
