My old yard used to use them and the sugar content is very high. I wouldnt recomend for a fizzy horse or poor doer as it is not slow release!

In all fairness the horses where on the competition mix or something like that ( had mix and chaff all in one) and the sugar content was higher then all over mixes i have used but really depends on what horse you are feeding

As it is a high energy slow release fiver based formula which my nutty grey thrives on. Any thing too high in sugar and she goes nuts but she is hard to keep weight on and this does the trick and she is super mellow but with plenty of top line, condition and calm energy to hunt safely
