my mare has a really nice thick mane, but her flipping rug hood has rubbed a huge chunk out of the bottom of her mane, i have no choice about the hooded rug, shes clipped out and gets cold, but do you think it would grow back when she gets her summer coat? i was planning on showing her, so ill need to plait. thanks.

Whe i bought my horse he had part of his main missing, it has taken 12 months to come back properly, but I did a
show him with it missing and he did ok.
