bald patches and one with thick scabbing...

Hi, what can this be: my mare has a couple of spots with no hair on her (one larger one on the side of the upper hind leg, one small on the shoulder as well as one with quite thick scabbing on it on the upper neck towards the head. Would they be related and what could they be especially the scabby one?
