Bald patches around the fetlock

Wondering if anyone can shed some light on horse's skin condition. I bought him with a small bald patch on the outside of his fetlock (only white sock) but didnt appear sore or itchy so i left it alone. However, he has now developed a patch on the inside of the same leg and the skin seems to be thickening. I have tried aloe vera and green oils gel but they havent made nay difference. any ideas what it might be and how to treat it?

Not a clue, but mine seems to have something very similar. Started 6 weeks ago with small graze and and has spread to about size of cirlcle 7cm across.

The skin in the middle is rough and there are scabs to the outside which bleed. Has spread to his face in last few days.

Have been treating with Iodosorb cream, which had reduced the broken areas.

We are wondering if it some sort of mite - although none of my other horses are affected. Next in line is a Hibiscrub all over body wash. Other poss is a contact dermatitis, but again no idea what as he has nothing new.

No help I'm afraid, but at least someone else has a similar prob!
