Bald pony ....

Hi folks,

I posted on here a while back about my rather sensitive TB who was getting bald patches where my legs sit and no matter what I did it didn't get any better, a few of you had the same issue so i thought it would be worth a shot with this one...

My TB is going bald all over his head not just where his bridle sits or where he gets sweaty but all over! even the middle of his forehead!
It seems to be that he is losing his winter coat but his summer coat isn't yet growing?!
anyone come across this before??
Slightly worried about ending up with a horse that looks like one of those bald cats ....

My boy (TB x Welsh D) goes slightly bald coming out of winter but its patchy and not en-mass. He gets patches on his face and normally his legs, seemingly where he isnt clipped. He's started with a bit on his face already. I never worry about mine and given a few weeks it soon starts growing through.
His summer coat is coming through on his neck and chest so far.

That's exactly like my boy he is getting some baldness on the inside of his legs as well as his face, and his summer coat is coming through on his neck and shoulders.
