baldness in yard cat

recently the cat that lives on the yard has gone bald from the neck down and very very quickly, one day he had hair the nxt he didnt, and it seems to have spread round his body. my first thought was mange as he doesnt seem to be itchy wats everyone elses thoughts?????

Flea allergy.....get some Frontline. We had a cat who had the same, he only neede a whiff of a flea and he was bald.

I agree definitely flea allergy. One of our cats got acomepltely bald tummy and this was why.

this is what i first thought so looked up symptoms and he doesnt have anyother symptom, there is no redness orany indication its fleas, i would have thought if he was allergic to fleas he would have got like this before as he is not tame enough to flea treat, his dad had a problem with his fur too but he used to be really itchy, and after loads of money spent by the owner they never solved the problem however when i told them to change his food from real cheap stuff he started getting better.
