The rubber covering on our lorry ramp has a tear in it and one of the wooden struts/treads is missing, so we want to redo the mat/treads. Called a couple of companies locally and got one quote, another coming back to me, but also looked at Fieldguard's website at their ramp mats and considering the other option of buying their mats and doing ourselves!
Just wondered if anyone has had their ramps done, and what sort of prices it came in at? The ramp itself is fine just needs recovering....
Or equally have you done yourself? Was it fairly straigtforward? And anyone used the fieldguard product with the rubber treads?
Thanks

A friend replaced torn coir matting and wooden strips on their ramp with a new rubber ramp map complete with treads, I don't know what make. The problem was that the rubber was so much heavier than the old coir matting and wooden strips that they could not lift the ramp once it was fitted! They ended up having to get uprated springs fitted to the ramp and no doubt would have been cheaper to geta professional job done in the first place!

Hmm yes have been warned about that problem.....ours does already have rubber and wood so would at least be replacing like for like but thanks for the heads up!

I was delighted with the fieldguard ramp covering - but as already said you will need (probably) to adjust your springs.
