Grrr !!!

Whats going on with BE?

They are running 4 of East Anglia's BE events on consecutive weekends.... and so folk with only 1 horse have to pick and choose which event to plump for if they cant enter more than 1 (thanks to it being £70 just to run)...

OH has saved his old campaigner for Burnham and Ive just seen that they are balloting JRN, PN, N and OPN classes.

Chances are that because the horse is on a day ticket this year, despite entering early, he will be balloted.

We will then have to wait til the end of May for another local event.

Whats going on with the diary this year BE ?

Its not fair for members with only one horse to have the local events all in the space of a month.

Its really not on..... its expensive enough to compete at £86 a time (inc day tickets) and an annaul membership of £110 per rider without finding that you are limited like this.

Ofcourse if we had a string of young horses and a number of owners paying the entires then it would make the riders fees more acceptable ...... *scowls*

I've used up all my super's already on my Intro horse and been lucky at Munstead, what really upsets me when riders with one horse gets balloted and then professionals running 10 horses over two days only get 1 horse ballotted if they are unlucky!!

That is really annoying when your balloted with your one horse, and the professionals have loads running!!! they should remember who pays for who!!!

totally agree, it is absolutely infuriating to have all the local ones so close together, and so early. the same thing used to happen when i lived in Northants iirc. you really do wonder who the hell does the thinking about the BE Calendar, i know some places have set dates because of farming commitments etc, but not all of them do.

Yh there were people with 10 running at Oasby and none balloted but people with one were, it's very strange.

Bit worried now that i'll be balloted from Burnham as haven't used a ballot sticker and i've always been fortunate to not get balloted so it could be a first.
